Due to illness and other team members being unavailable tonight, we have decided to cancel tonight’s meeting.
We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 14th May. The Moon will be at an ideal phase for viewing the craters (weather permitting). We hope to see you there!
Our public meetings are held at 7.30 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from March to November. It is best to check back here on our website or on our Facebook page in case of cancellations.
The Tauranga Astronomical Society is located in the Otumoetai Sports & Recreation Club building in Fergusson Park, end of Tilby Drive, Matua, Otumoetai, Tauranga.
A donation of $5 is requested for adults (non members). No charge for children 15 years and under or for TAS members.
Annual membership of the Tauranga Astronomical Society is $40 per adult, $50 per family, $20 for tertiary students. Children 15 years and under are free.
Please note that we do not have EFTPOS available, so cash only please.
